Chantal & James :: Wedding

I don’t really have a good excuse for neglecting the blog besides being busy…I feel terrible but to make up for it, I will be posting lots in the next few weeks, so check in often! Now onto one of my many beautiful June weddings…

No words can explain how much I LOVED Chantal and James’ wedding. Chantal and I both have a strong love for antiques, vintage and rustic things, which made the wedding extra special for me. The couple chose a great little venue in Cantley, Quebec called La Grange. While it wasn’t the biggest venue it was filled to the brim with all sorts of fantastic antique items. All the great stuff made for an excellent backdrop but the best part was their willingness to go along with anything I suggested, including a canoe ride on the Gatineau River! Being open to my ideas, makes for great pictures and I am ecstatic with the outcome.

This will be a long one just because I know Chantal has been waiting patiently ;)

And a few from the reception:

July 18, 2010 - 9:11 pm Patricia Fulsom - These are, without a doubt, the most beautiful pictures I think I've ever seen. As the mother of the groom, when I looked at them, I had tears in my eyes...they blew me away. You've captured exactly how Chantal and James feel about each other. Absolutely fabulous! I can't wait to see all of them. Chantal and James must be ecstatic! They certainly have some beautiful, outstanding pictures to view and share. Again, an outstanding job. It was a perfect day.

July 18, 2010 - 12:13 am Tarah - Wow! Stunning Mel! I love La Grange! Chris and I spent a weekend/mini-honeymoon there this past winter! We loved it! Such a lovely place to get married! Hope you are well!
