As promised, here is my 101 in 1001 list. For New Years, I decided to list 101 things to do in 1001 days (just under 3 years) instead of making some New Years resolutions. I find making lists like this force me to accomplish the things I want to do and it feels so good doing them! 101 is a lot of things to accomplish. There’s a variety of small things and there are some big challenges too. I will try my best to achieve everything! Wish me luck – Here it goes:
- Learn to be a better snowboarder
- Volunteer abroad atleast for a month * Done 31/ 03/11
- Get a bike * Done 17/08/10
- Attend a mentor session with a photographer that I admire
- Have a complete set of prime lenses especially those that I dream of!
- Attend a huge workshop
- Get in shape
- Have my photography featured in a magazine
- Double blog traffic
- Go to Europe
- Have a regular workout regime
- Print pictures for my own home
- Shoot a wedding in a country I’ve never been * Done 09/04/11
- Find a nice packaging system for the business
- Be a vegetarian for a month * Done 01/03/11
- Have a shoot where proceeds go to a charity of my choice
- Make a vegetable garden every year
- Open my own studio
- Learn guitar
- Get pics taken of myself by a great photographer

- Finally use all of my Polaroid film and make a project out of it

- Find an artificial lighting technique that suits my style better
- Sing at an open mic
- Make my own preserves (pickles, jam, etc.)

- Take a girls only week or weekend with my girlfriends

- Floss daily for a whole month

- Shoot a trash the dress in the snow
- Go for a hot stone massage at The Nordik
- Add pictures to Flickr
- Knit a blanket
- Rekindle my friendship with a long time friend (love you Jess) * Done 06/07/10
- Organize and find a functional paperwork system for finances, client bookings, etc.
- Join ‘Now I Lay me Down to Sleep’
- Go apple picking
- Purchase some sort of business management software
- Transfer all CDs to iTunes
- Read a business book
- Take one REAL day off every week during the busy months of June-September
- Donate 5$ for each item on my list that was not accomplished to a organization of my choice
