In order to give my clients my 100%, I limit the number of weddings to approx. 30 per year.

I have 23 weddings booked so far which means I am only taking a few more dates for 2010. I have already booked a couple 2011 dates as well.

I met up with Mellina and Mike for their engagment session on a beautiful September evening in downtown Ottawa. It’s sort of funny how I’ve gone from never doing shoots downtown to several in the past month…

Mellina and Mike are such a cute couple, one of those couples that just look “right” together. They arrived for their shoot dressed to the nines and it was easy to take great pictures of them!

All in all it was a great session. I had a fantastic time getting to know both of them and learning about how they met. Currently Mellina lives in Ottawa while Mike lives in Montreal, but they’ve found a way to make it work. It’s true what they say, love always finds a way

Mellina had the most gorgeous eyes!

Elizabeth and Heidi had a wonderful wedding at the First Unitarian Church in Ottawa. I couldn’t help but notice that all of the family and friends in attendance were smiling through the entire ceremony! It was easy to see how happy everyone was that these two have found true love in each other.

The ceremony was followed by a wonderful reception at Juniper restaurant highlighted by an exquisitely presented multi course meal. Not only did the food look great, it tasted great too

It was a privilege to be a part of Elizabeth and Heidi’s big day and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!

I met Hana earlier this month at the Ottawa bridal show. As soon as we started talking about the possibilities for her wedding day and engagement sessions I was sure I would have a great time working with her!

Hana and her fiance Matt are very down to earth and their engagement session on Parliament Hill and beside the historic Bytown museum was loads of fun. I am super excited for their wedding day next May!

Hana and Matt were one of the last couples to book a session with me this fall as I am now booked solid for the next month or so! I have been very busy lately and although I’ve been pulling my hair out, I love it! I have been so lucky to have such great clients

Shannon and Alain’s wedding was a small, gorgeous, intimate event. The outdoor ceremony at Ottawa’s Rockcliffe Park was very romantic.

The way that Alain smiles at Shannon and the way she shyly blushes and smiles right back reminds me of what love is really about. It’s about the butterflies you get when your partner looks in your eyes. Its about the small kind things you do for each other that seem insignifigant but become memories you cherish forever.

Spending time with these two has made me love my job even more! I am so happy that I was able to share this day with them, and capture images that will remind them of it forever…

Alain And Shannon’s only request was to get a few pictures by the Look Out as it was there that they shared their first kiss and where Alain eventually proposed.

And of course we had to get a shot of them reenacting the moment
