Jordan :: Newborn

Newborns…what can I say? They are simply wonderful. Their arm and leg rolls, their fuzzy shoulder hair, their unexpected grins…Although I don’t shoot newborn sessions very often, I LOVE doing them nonetheless! They are definitely a change of pace for me from all the weddings and couples I usually shoot.

This little guy was only 14 days old and what an honour it was to shoot him! He was such a charmer! (I’m honestly not just saying that because he is a redhead like me…hehe) It took a while for him to fall asleep, but once he did - he let me do whatever I wanted!

For those of you who are interested in having a newborn session, I typically ask that the session is done within 2 weeks of your baby being born. Please book me way in advance as my weddings and couples take up most of my schedule. I would be delighted to shoot the spankin’ new addition to your family ;)

Random findings :: Twelve

It’s been a while since I have posted a random findings, but its also been a while since we’ve seen the warmth and the sunshine! Summer is starting to show it’s face little by little and I cannot wait to wear those flip flops!

I am so excited to announce that I finally got my long awaited tilt shift lens :) (Another thing to scratch off my 24 things to do before I turn 25 list).  Since the sun showed it’s face last weekend, I decided to take a little road trip and test this baby out. So I went all the way across the border to the States to find some cool stuff.

Here are some neat abandoned locations I found on my little adventure. Enjoy :)

Updates and freebies :)

FINALLY the weather here seems to be a bit more promising. I have been keeping busy booking and getting ready for my upcoming 2009 weddings but I’ve also been ITCHING to get out and shoot again.

These long winter months may have been dreary, but they have given me a chance to work on some significant improvements to my website, blog and other fun tidbits so stay tuned for some great changes around here…

Also, to kick start the wedding season, I have decided to offer one free engagement session to the next person who books their wedding with me!

I LOVE engagement sessions. They are my favorite! Not only will you get amazing pictures of you and your lover, but they give you a chance to get to know me and the camera. This way, it will alleviate one of your wedding day worries so you can concentrate on having a great time :)

So, be the next to email me to book your wedding and get your free engagement shoot! **Update: Congrats to Chantal and James for booking their wedding with me and getting your free engagement session! See you in the summer :)

What’s a post without a picture? I’ll leave you with an image from one of my favorite engagement sessions, enjoy…
