I just want to remind everyone that I do offer gift certificates. I noticed that most of my gift certificates are sold for baby showers, and I find that so appropriate. Newborn sessions are typically done when the baby is no older then 2 weeks old, so I often get mommy and daddies really ecstatic about these pictures since they grow up so fast and often forget how tiny and vulnerable they once were. Pascal’s parents got a gift certificate when he was born and quickly contacted me. I was able to open up my schedule for them and glad I did because Pascal was such a sweetheart.

I am really looking forward to their family session in the Spring when I get to see how much Pascal has grown!

Pascal had many expressions to share with me. Here he seems pensive…hehe!

Last winter I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to photograph Sarah’s horses. When she contacted me again recently and invited me to their ranch to take more pictures of her beautiful horses, I was thrilled! Not only did Sarah want some summer pictures this time around, she wanted me to take photographs of the brand spankin’ new foal that one of her horses gave birth to a few weeks prior.

Just like last time I was out at the ranch, I had a fantastic time and it was so nice to be around these majestic animals once again.

What better way to start a day then with a great sunrise photoshoot. The soft morning light makes for great pictures and I always enjoy capturing families like this one together. Natasha and Scott spent the morning giggling and cuddling their gorgeous 5 month old daughter Annabelle while I caught it all on camera. I had a blast with all of you and hope you had a safe trip back home to Chicago!

I also just want to make a quick note that in order to fulfill my 101 things in 1001 days list, I will be trying to accomplish #41 on that list this month. Therefore, I will try to blog everyday for one whole month (excluding weekends). Check the blog daily, as there will be recent weddings and sessions and a few random things too. Wish me luck!

This little family is very special to me. I first met them during their maternity shoot in Punta Cana, then I was honoured to capture their beautiful baby girl Olivia just under a year ago. When Lindsay contacted me to see if I could take pictures of all 3 of them, I was delighted. Their are no words that come close to explaining how amazing it is to see a family grow like I did with Lindsay and Matts.

Its so refreshing to have a newborn shoot in the middle of my hectic wedding season. Little Rachel definitely kept me on my toes the whole time, but she was one adorable little girl!
