NEW BLOG/SITE!!!!!

I am unbelievably excited to announce that I have a new blog!  Infact, I am so giddy I am actually typing this while standing up! I was tired of having both my website and blog living in seperate worlds so I have joined them together to make a blogsite. There, you will find FAQs, galleries, contact info, as well as recent sessions, weddings, etc.

So without further ado, change your RSS feeds to www.melissajohnstonphotography.com to stay up to date with all my new adventures and activities. This current blog will remain as an archive that will be excessible from my new site if you wish to view past posts.

Can’t wait to see you all there!

Deborah & Tyler :: Wedding

Deborah and Tyler’s wedding took place litterally a day before I left for India/Nepal and I couldn’t have asked for a better day to remind me of what I was coming back to at the end of my trip – the greatest job anyone could ever have. I love being able to capture all sorts of emotions between a couple just like these two.

They also opted for the first look, always a great a moment!

Lindsay & Sean :: Wedding

I loved Lindsay and Sean’s wedding! This was my first ‘brunch’ wedding and it turned out amazing. I really enjoyed how intimate the setting was with close flamily and friends witnessing their vows and having a nice quiet lunch at the Courtyard restaurant.

Julie :: Maternity

I love maternity photos, they are so pure. I photographed Julie and Richard’s wedding last March and was so excited to hear that they were pregnant!

Robyn & Chris :: Wedding

I’m back!!!! As most of you know, I left for India and Nepal at the end of February and have been gone a little over a month now. That will have it’s own seperate post where I will go into full detail about my adventures but for now, I need to update the blog with quite a few weddings and sessions that I had photographed before departing.

Enough about that, here is the first of several posts - Robyn and Chris’ wedding which took place at the amazing Stanley’s Maple Farm. The setting was a true winter wonderland!

I love this next picture of the mother of the bride watching her daughter getting ready.
