Right around this time of year, people start getting the winter blues. Shovelling, driving on sheer ice, cleaning off the car at 6am in -20...it gets to you...yet we keep doing it. Year after year we complain and wonder why we endure all of it. I think it's because deep down, we love it. We love our home...
The other day, it was snowing and it seemed like it was never going to stop. But I took the time to look outside and took in the beauty that mother nature had brought upon us. The snow formed a white blanket on everything in sight and at that moment I thought, our home is beautiful, and I'll cherish it forever.

Leanne and Matt contacted me just a couple months before their wedding and I was pleased to be available to shoot their winter nuptials! They were real troopers, braving the -16 weather that day in order to get a few outdoor shots. I love my clients!

Right before the holidays I had the pleasure of photographing some amazing products by Wishtree Invitations & Stationary. Krista and Brytani were so pleasant to work with and I was swooning at all their amazing designs!
Check them out if you need any type of stationary for your wedding or event such as invites, programs, menus, thank you cards, etc. Here are just a few samples of their work!

Lifestyle sessions keep me sane. The bulk of my work revolves around beautiful and happy couples prancing around and getting married. I'm not complaining in the least but it's always refreshing to be able to experience and capture a whole different aspect of life. Pregnancy, newborns, families - you name it, I see it...and I love it!
Note* There are some boudoir photos in this slideshow so if there are any kiddies around maybe cover their eyes. Even though they are tasteful, I thought I'd warn you anyway ;)
